SOUTHERN IN-STREAM FLOW NETWORK: SARP has a multiyear Black Bass project with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Tim Birdsong with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has led the effort with a focus on habitat restoration for the Guadalupe Bass. Tim would like to highlight restoration of flows for black bass elsewhere in the region at an upcoming conference. Please send [email protected] information about projects that included improvement of instream flow regimes for restoration of black bass habitat.

The Pollinator Service Challenge is an opportunity for each of the FWS Regions to engage in pollinator conservation and education activities during the time around National Pollinator Week, June 18-24, 2012.
