Data & Studies

SOUTHERN IN-STREAM FLOW NETWORK: SARP has a multiyear Black Bass project with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Tim Birdsong with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has led the effort with a focus on habitat restoration for the Guadalupe Bass. Tim would like to highlight restoration of flows for black bass elsewhere in the region at an upcoming conference. Please send [email protected] information about projects that included improvement of instream flow regimes for restoration of black bass habitat.

REQUEST: SOUTHERN INSTREAM FLOW NETWORK

As part of the development of a river classification framework, we would like to have a comprehensive list of existing river classifications for the SARP region.  This will help us include and utilize work that has already been done in the region.  We would like to know the geographic extent and classification categories and criteria.  Please send us any classification used by your state, agency, or other entity to Mary Davis at [email protected].

Please forward this request to someone who may also have information to contribute.  We are in the process of developing size and gradient classes, so would appreciate your feedback as soon as possible.  Many thanks.
